The D Garden House was a major renovation project, adding a C-shaped extension wing for a corner lot terrace house. Smooth concrete finishes dominate the exterior facade, combined with a center courtyard carved into the extension, suggesting a modern Japanese identity for the interior spaces.

The existing living room was converted into foyer where residents showcase their art piece and music collections, providing visitors a glimpse of the interior tone for the rest of the dwelling. A double volume living area in the extension wing acts as canvas for sunlight, passing through full-height glasses and louvers placed at different angles, creating an interplay of light and shadow.

The dining area is defined by modern Japanese design, where lifestyle such as tea art was incorporated. The center courtyard serves as the core of the building, encouraging interactions between indoor and outdoor spaces and creating a natural living experience. The result is an interior experience that is timeless with an artistic flair blended with modern Japanese style.
